Delete your account
Remove your AskToTeach account and personal data, from the website or the app.
How to delete your account
- In the app: Account → Delete account.
- On the website: sign in, then open this page and use the button below.
- Can't sign in? Email [email protected] from the email address or phone number on your account and we'll delete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your name, email, phone number, photo and password
- Google sign-in link, learner profile and tutor profile (bio, qualifications, fees, location, availability)
- ID documents uploaded for verification, including the files
- Notifications, saved questions, devices and push notification tokens
What is kept (without your name or contact details)
- Bookings, payments and refunds, for up to 8 years, as Indian tax and accounting law requires
- Reviews and chat messages you sent, shown as “Deleted user”, because they are part of the other person's history
- Test attempts and scores, shown as “Deleted user” on leaderboards
- Tutorials you sold stay available to people who bought them; your classes and listings are removed
Before you delete
Finish or cancel open bookings and published classes with learners first. Deleting is immediate and can't be undone. You can sign up again later with the same email or phone as a new user.
